Okay, I’m still skeptical, but I REALLY like the Nutrisystem method. We got our 2 weeks of food – both a shelf-stable shipment & a frozen food shipment (luckily, we have a large freezer in the garage!) but once we counted things out, we found that it was really 10 days of food (14 snacks), rather then the expected 14. I guess 14 would be another add-on, and really, we’re supposed to be making our own health meals for two days, so that’s fine. Since tomorrow is a Monday, and the start of our program, we’ll just use the weekend as our “cheat days” and eat as best we can.
I weighed myself this morning and I tipped the scales at 245(!)
A cool thing about the plan is that you can set up your tracking on their NuMi App. The Meal Plan for Week 1 is different than subsequent weeks, and consists of 1,000 Calories a day to “reboot” our bodies.
Yikes, I am wondering how I won’t be hungry all the time. Maybe 3 meals + snacks in between won’t be enough. For one of the snacks, we purchased their add-on Nutrisystem Shake. I’m glad the shake is considered snack and not a meal.
My goal it to get down to 215 lbs, so let’s see how long it takes to shed 30 lbs.
